Cheap Skiplagging Flight Deals to Nuremberg, BY (NUE)

What is Skiplagging? Skiplagging is a type of flight deal, also known as a hidden-city ticket, where you plan to get off at the layover city rather than the final, ticketed destination. Typically, airlines charge more for direct flights and less for flights with stops. When you see a flight marked as a "Skiplagging", that means this itinerary will continue on to another destination, but you will get off at the layover stop. The average savings for a hidden-city flight is $180.

Nuremberg Private Medieval Old Town Walking Tour with Local Guide
Nuremberg Private Medieval Old Town Walking Tour with Local Guide
2 hours. Nuremberg was founded in 975 and grew into the second-largest city in medieval Germany. On this private walking tour, I take you through the Old Town where over 1,000 years of history are still visible in the walls, churches, and alleys. We start at the Old Town Hall, walk through medieval lanes and across bridges that are over 500 years old, past Gothic churches among the oldest in Germany, and end at the Imperial Castle with a panoramic view over the entire city. I am a historian based in Nuremberg. Instead of listing facts, I connect each place to the people who shaped it: emperors at the castle, merchants at the market, and Dürer who made this city famous across Europe. I also show you what survived the destruction of 1945 and where the line between original and reconstruction runs today. The tour is private. You set the pace and the focus. At the end, I give you personal recommendations for restaurants, museums, and anything else for your stay.

Walking tour Nuremberg
Walking tour Nuremberg
2.5 hours. Hello and welcome to Nuremberg. As a Nuremberg native, I would be happy to present you my hometown. The focus will be on Nuremberg's "Golden Age" of the late Middle Ages with its craftsmen, traders and patricians. We visit, among other things, the main market, Kaiserburg and Tiergärtnertorplatz as well as Nuremberg's most beautiful half-timbered street. Of course, we also learn about Germany's greatest artist, Albrecht Dürer, and other personalities who shaped Franconia's capital. Unfortunately, a direct path from Nuremberg's "Golden age" leads to its romantic transfiguration and to the misuse of the city's reputation for the National Socialist "Party Rallies" and ultimately to complete destruction in the WWII. But this shouldn't be the end. The reconstruction of Nuremberg gave the city back its identity. It would be a pleasure to guide you through Nurembergs history and culture. Of course, you will receive all the information you need about your stay, including recommendations on restaurants and other sights. See you in Nuremberg.

PRIVATE Rothenburg Day Tour from Nuremberg
PRIVATE Rothenburg Day Tour from Nuremberg
8 hours. I'm Kevin and you could say that I'm a cultural interpreter, not a teacher (passing on knowledge) or a sightseeing guide (pointing things out). I'm more like a reverse anthropologist: a local expert insider explaining and sharing Rothenburg's culture and history with my inquisitive customers. I lead exploratory walks and unscripted cultural experiences. Information is presented in a way that allows my guests to make their own mental connections because, after all, a tour with just interesting information is infotainment. The most memorable tours are the ones that make people think and feel. Rothenburg, seemingly untouched by the passage of time, is a town on the Romantic Road that is approx. 1 hour drive from Nuremberg. It is known for its medieval town center and its mostly undamaged 14th-century town wall. In the Middle Ages, Rothenburg was a free imperial city, reaching its apex of prosperity in the 15th-century.
